Men’s medal games set
Following two high-standard semi-finals, the line-ups for the men’s medal games at the Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships 2022 are now set.
After beating Italy by 7-4 in the first semi-final on Thursday evening, Scotland will continue the defence of their title on Saturday afternoon, when they face Switzerland, who beat Sweden by 6-3 in Friday morning’s second semi-final.
Before the gold medal game, Italy will be striving to repeat their bronze medal performance of last season, when they face Sweden in the bronze medal game.
In these games, Switzerland will start with last stone advantage, as will Italy in the bronze match.
